Turkish Airlines launch Euro 2016 campaign based on #EuropesBest

May 25 – Euro 2016 sponsor Turkish Airlines has launched a fan activation campaign titled ‘Meet Europe’s Best’ that will showcase fans and their cultures encouraging them to load social media content to a microsite around the hashtag #EuropesBest.

The airline is also running a television commercial campaign, implementing unique plane liveries, and running ticket giveaways. During the tournament select Turkish Airlines planes will show live matches, while the airline will also be present inactivation zones in four host cities and have branding across key sites in Paris.

‘Meet Europe’s Best’ campaignis designed to spotlight the best fans from around Europe who go to the greatest lengths show their love and passion for their national team.

The campaign microsite MeetEuropesBest.com will aggregate user generated social media content around. Fans can display the ways in which they support their team using the hashtag for a chance to win flights, accommodation and tickets.

Hollywood music video director Grady Hall is filming seven ads showcasing the world of professional footballers merged with the passenger experience offered by Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Airlines’ chief marketing officer Ahmet Olmuştur said: “The Meet Europe’s Best campaign is a celebration of UEFA EURO 2016 TM and of the fans that will be at the heart of the tournament. From our microsite and television adverts, to our special livery and ticket giveaways, Turkish Airlines wants to give football supporters the opportunity to celebrate with other fans from across Europe.”
