August 16 – Premier League Spurs have created their third ‘Super Club’ in the Bahamas in partnership with the Albany resort and Windsor School.

Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur join Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur in Florida and Tottenham Hotspur East Bay in California as part of a grassroots programme that will develop 6-18 year old local talent using the expertise of the club’s academy training programmes and its Global Coaching team.

All Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur teams will compete in the Bahamas FA leagues, playing and training in Spurs kit, with sessions taking place at Windsor School. The U14 and U17 age groups will feature All-Star teams made up of the best young players on the island selected via trials taking place next month.

Grant Cornwell, Head of Global Coaching, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “The Club has a fantastic track record in developing young players through its Academy and we aim to take these methods throughout the world and give more young people the chance to improve their game by working with our authentic coaching team.”

Damien Michelmore, Vice President, Albany, said: “We are delighted to partner with Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Coaching team to offer every child in the Bahamas the opportunity to play and train as a team under the Tottenham Hotspur brand. Everyone involved is excited about the collaboration and the chance to develop young talent on the island.”
