September 14 – Manchester United has announced that its #ILOVEUNITED fan events will be staged in 10 locations over the 2016/17 season with a focus on Asia, but with new locations in the US in Los Angeles and in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The events will start and finish in China and were launched at the weekend in Beijing with Man Utd ambassador Dwight Yorke hosting a live match screening for the derby match against Manchester City.
Fan events will now follow in Bangkok and Jakarta and include a return to India and Vietnam following events in those countries last season- this time in Kolkata and Ho Chi Minh City respectively.
The tour ends with a #ILOVEUNITED fan party in Beijing for one of the season concluding Premier League games.
The format for the events includes Manchester United legends meeting fans and giving pre- and post-match analysis of the game as well as various entertainment options including MUTV’s matchday programme (normally only available at Old Trafford), giveaways and competitions.
Manchester United Soccer Schools will also join the roadshow, with coaches putting on sessions and 3v3 competitions.

We’re delighted to announce today that we’re organising large-scale parties for fans in multiple locations. Thanks to our strong following on social media and the work of MUTV, this will be an interactive, shared experience among the global community of United fans.”
