Social media: Facebook booms, Man Utd dominate but Hull City slip out the picture

December 9 – Premier League clubs’ Facebook growth continues to increase week-on-week for a third week running with a jump of 332,800 this week from 314,000 last week and 301,000 two weeks ago.

These figures exclude Hull City who appear to have closed down their account of 54,000 subscribers.

Excluding Hull City from the overall figures, produces an overall growth in Instagram followers this week to 273,200 from 250,000 last week.

Manchester United continue to dominate all platforms heading towards 72 million Facebook likes; 15 million Instagram followers, and 9.5 million Twitter Followers.
