PepsiMax to activate Champions League sponsorship with ‘moments’ campaign

February 9 – PepsiCo is activating its Champions League sponsorship with a series of videos and ads promoting its Pepsi Max brand celebrating the dedication of football fans.

A TV ad – ‘We know how much it means’ – will air from April 8 ahead of the quarter finals. The ad focuses on the emotional journey fans go through before and during a match.

The campaign will run in 75 markets worldwide, will also see a partnership with sports platforms Copa90 and Bleacher Report, and will network content across Facebook, Instagram Stories and Snapchat.

#PepsiMaxMoment will also run throughout 2017 and Sergio Agüero, Alexis Sánchez and Vincent Kompany have been signed for a series of films that will focus on the individual moments from pre-match build up, to on-pitch highlights and post-match analysis.

PepsiCo is in the second year of its Champions League sponsorship.
