Arsenal to add more top tier ticket options at Emirates

November 2 – Arsenal are to increase the number of premium seats by 780 at their Emirates Stadium over the next two years, boosting the overall capacity to 60,600.

The new seats will be in the ‘Club Level’ areas where prices start at about £2,500 for a season ticket.

The two-stage development will take place during the summer breaks between seasons in 2018 and 2019.

“Arsenal will be developing and renovating areas of Emirates Stadium over the next two years to help bring capacity back in line with its original figure from 2006,” said a club statement.

“Capacity has been reduced in recent seasons due to safety requirements and improvements to facilities for disabled supporters.

“Next May work will begin on adding approximately 780 extra seats to Club Level and will involve adding an extra row to the front of Club Level taking capacity to just over 60,600.”

Chief Commercial Officer Vinai Venkatesham said: “The development of Club Level is crucial to ensuring fan experience at games is at its best whilst also enabling us to stay at the forefront of stadium hospitality.

Spurs have recently announced their five-star catering options for their new stadium which is racing to be open for the start of next season but could be delayed. The new capacity will be 61,000.
