Coca-Cola make eCopa a grassroots qualifier for FIFA eWorld Cup 2018

February 8 – Coca-Cola has announced that its eCOPA Coca-Cola tournament will be an official EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series qualifier event as part of ‘The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018’ that will be played in August.

The eCopa tournament is free to enter and open to all gamers.The global competition is already underway in France, with players competing to become one of 24 French players to be in the national finals of the first  eCOPA Coca-Cola French Championship.

Tournaments in Denmark and Norway will start next with other markets follow on. Each national winner qualifies for the Champions final, with the eventual winner qualifying for the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs.

Football is part of the Coke’s DNA – part of how we connect with people.”
