SIGA to host special session in Paris focussing on gender equality, March 7

March 2 – The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) is to hold a one-day conference focusing on gender equality on March 7 in Paris, the day before International Women’s Day.

The Special Session, titled ‘Good governance in sport –  Piercing the gender glass ceiling’, will bring together key people working across this issue and “will include testimonies from a number of leading women in sport and outline initiatives from organisations paving the way in equality,” said SIGA.

At the special session SIGA will announce the development of a worldwide mentorship programme to support and encourage young female leaders in sport.
