Hotels.com targets Spurs fans in new sponsorship and loyalty deal

June 12 – Tottenham Hotspur have signed a new long-term agreement with hotels booking website Hotels.com that will include preferential discounts for Spurs signed up to the website’s loyalty programme.

Hotels.com is a global accommodation site, operating via 90 local websites in 41 different languages.

Johan Svanstrom, president, Hotels.com brand, said: “We aim to provide really rewarding experiences for customers in our business and, through this relationship, we look forward to rewarding Spurs fans wherever they follow the club.”

Spurs estimate their global following to be more than 400 million, with strong supporter bases across the UK, the USA, China, Asia and Southern Africa, including over 160 Official supporters clubs worldwide. The club has language versioned its digital (including social media) platforms and Hotels.com will be looking to communicate to Spurs fans via these sites.

The deal with Spurs will see Hotels.com have a strong presence across digital signage including the stadium’s LED advertising system, big screens and interior TV network, as well as across the Club’s website and digital channels.

The agreement will launch at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season, the first at Spurs’ new stadium.

Fran Jones, Head of Partnerships, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “As a Club, we are privileged to have millions of supporters across the world who travel far and wide to support the team. This exciting agreement with Hotels.com will make the process easier and more affordable for fans looking for accommodation both domestically and internationally.”
