Inter Milan build on their Chinese connections with Monalisa addition

June 18 – The work Internazionale have been doing in China is paying off with the country’s Monalisa Group having signed a partnership with the club.

Inter Milan, owned by China’s Suning Group, has had an expansionist strategy in China.

Inter announced the opening of two new Inter Academy centres are in Jiangsu and Shenyang in the province of Liaoning last week.

This takes the number of Inter Academy centres in China to six, with the others in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, as well as in Nanjing, in the province of Jiangsu, which is being further expanded.

Tile manufacturer Monalisa, headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong Province, becomes an Official China Partner of Inter Milan and the first tile sponsor of the Serie A team.

Monalisa Group are looking to expand globally and have set up a production base and an R&D centre in Italy. The Inter Milan sponsorship is intended to speed their globalisation.

“Football is borderless and belongs to the whole world. We hope that Monalisa Tiles will also get all over the world.” said Xiao Libiao, the president of Monalisa Group.
