Soccerex shifts winter trade show to Miami with Concacaf’s support

July 5 – Football trade show Soccerex has announced it is taking its main winter event, until this year generally held in Manchester, England, to Miami in the US, in partnership with regional confederation Concacaf.

Concacaf has been a regional supporter of the event organiser since 2017 but is now investing in bringing the show to the city where it is headquartered. It will invite all its 41 members to attend the event November 15-16 which is a mix of conference and exhibition stands.

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) and Soccerex announced today a partnership to support Soccerex’s return to the U.S. for the second time since its founding, which will convene the international soccer community in Miami, Florida on November 15-16 to exchange strategies, insights and a vision of the world of football.

“Hosting this industry platform on ‘home soil’ will draw key stakeholders and experts for a productive discussion on the business of football and to explore core areas to our ONE Concacaf Vision including the access to more opportunities to grow the game within our region and throughout the world,” said Concacaf general secretary Philippe Moggio.

Soccerex and Concacaf have set up an advisory board with representatives from both the U.S. Soccer Federation and Major League Soccer that will establish the conference programme. The exhibition will focus on the latest football business, performance and technology innovations.

The venue will be the Marlin’s Park baseball stadium.
