Nepalese A League returns after 3-year hiatus, live on mycujoo

September 28 – This weekend Nepal’s A Division returns after a three-year absence of top level league football following a period of turmoil, dispute and uncertainty within the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

The Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League will return with 14 teams, all in the Kathmandu Valley, playing for the title. The matches will all be streamed live on the mycujoo platform.

The ANFA have entered a four-year agreement with mycujoo covering all ANFA competitions, including the 91 matches of re-started league, as well as Women’s leagues, Futsal leagues and other competitions.

All league matches will be live streamed online for the first time and free to access. The country’s new National Premier League will also be streamed.

ANFA’s general secretary, Indraman Tuladhar said: “We have been streaming through mycujoo since 2017 and we have seen how user friendly the platform is… Considering the difficult terrains Nepal has, it is really difficult to broadcast matches in remote areas, but with mycujoo this is not a problem.”

The Nepal tie-up is the 38th multi-year agreement in an Asian country for mycujoo, which has now expanded its reach to more than 100 countries worldwide.
