January 7 – Real Betis, currently in sixth in LaLiga’s top flight, have expanded their agreement with Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo who will now become one of the club’s main partners.
No figure was announced for the extension of the deal which will see Alfa Romeo become the training kit sponsor of the football team as well as increase involvement with the women’s and basketball teams.
The carmaker will also provide the Real Betis playing squad and coaching staff with official vehicles.
“For Real Betis, it is a source of pride to unite our brand with that of Alfa Romeo. Both entities share a passion for work well done and have a clearly identified brand internationally. We are committed to maintaining long-term relationships with our partners. And that’s the case with Alfa Romeo ,” said Ramón Alarcón, general manager of Real Betis.
As well as logo recognition on training kit, Alfa Romeo will showcase car models at the club’s training centre and Benito-Villamarín stadium. Under its existing deal it has advertising space on stadium LED panels as well as other digital activation across the club.
