UEFA picks IMG to sell EURO 2020 hospitality for UK and Ireland

March 19 – UEFA, which last week issued a tender splitting its beer sponsor package into 12 pieces for the EURO 2020 championships, has these week awarded an exclusive sales agency contract to IMG to be its official hospitality sales agent for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

The EURO 202 hospitality programme will guarantee premium tickets, gourmet catering and elite viewing positions via a range of packages. Open market sales begin June on a first-come-first-served basis, with a pre-sale period for existing box holders at the venues beginning in May 2019.

IMG has worked with UEFA in the past including on EURO 2008 in Austria and Switzerland, the 2011 and 2013 UEFA Champions League finals, and EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

Martin Kallen, UEFA Events CEO, said: “UEFA Events S.A. is pleased to work with IMG. I am certain that IMG will once again achieve very impressive sales results as they have always done in the past.”

EURO 2020 will be played across 12 venues in 12 different European countries, kicking off Friday 12 June 2020 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome with final three matches being played at Wembley Stadium in London.
