April 10 – UEFA has issued a licensing rights tender for the creation of UEFA club competition branded headphones and speakers.
UEFA is inviting proposals from “suitably qualified companies” that are preferably already working in the sports business. The carrot is the moniker and supply of the Official Licensed Headphones and Speakers for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League for seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/21.
UEFA said the “licensed product category includes but is not limited to: Headphones, Earbuds, Noise-cancelling headphones, Speakers, Bluetooth and wireless headphones and speakers.
TEAM Marketing is overseeing the bidding process with initial queries to be directed to them no later than April 25.
