May 8 – The experience of being in the stadium and experiencing the match live will be replicated tomorrow night in Las Vegas using virtual reality for the Liga MX play-off game between Club América vs. Cruz Azul.
As part of a Bud Light promotion, the brewer is using VR technology – and actual seats from iconic Azteca stadium in Mexico City – to give fans in Las Vegas the opportunity to experience the Azteca live tomorrow night, starting at 6pm Pacific Time at The Park @ Beerhaus in Las Vegas.
Named the ‘Seats of Glory’, the seats have been taken from the Azteca and relocated to Las Vegas where fans can slip on a state-of-the-art VR headset to be transported hundreds of miles back Mexico City to experience the Club América vs. Cruz Azul liguilla playoff game.
They will be able to sit in the same seats as the fans in-stadium, while being surrounded by actual fans in the bar.
