Brazil’s 2019 Copa America triumph to star on the small screen with Amazon

July 22 – Amazon Prime Video has bought the series ‘All or Nothing’ featuring Brazil’s 2019 Copa America win on home soil, TV sales agency Pitch International has announced.

Earlier this month the five-times world champions won the South American championship at home, defeating Peru 3-1 in the final, alleviating the pressure on coach Tite after last year’s premature World Cup exit against Belgium.

The documentary featuring Brazil’s ninth Copa America will launch on Amazon Prime Video early in 2020. It will be based on the behind-the-scenes footage provided by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), following Brazil’s campaign which kicked off with a 3-0 win against continental minnows Bolivia. Brazil laboured through the group stages and passed Paraguay in the quarter-finals before defeating arch rival Argentina in a nail-biting semi-final.

The CBF already disseminates behind-the-scenes footage via its social media, but that content is limited to shareable small videos. ‘The All or Nothing’ documentary series aims to tell Brazil’s Copa America triumph through unprecedented access to the team.
