December 2 – Real Madrid has signed online bookmaker Marathonbest as its first club partner in Russia.
Marathonbet will market to Russia primarily through the Supponor supplied virtual LED boards in Russian broadcasts. The Supponor digiBOARD uses digital overlay technology to insert the ad message.
In what is an initial one-season deal, Marathonbet customers will receive exclusive offers and for special events during the 2019/20 season, including match day VIP experiences and meet and greets with Real Madrid players and legends.
Marathonbet has gently expanded its sponsorship inventory with Spanish clubs having secured a two-deal with Sevilla earlier this year.
That deal is global and gives the bookmaker access to content, offers and club experiences as well as logo branding in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium and on match day interview backdrops.
