2023 debutants St Louis City break MLS season ticket deposit records

September 18 – St Louis City, who debut in the MLS in 2023, have broken records for season ticket deposits with 50,000 registered in the first 24 hours of the offer going online.

30,000 registrations were received in the first 15 minutes for a stadium that will have a capacity of just 22,500.

“We have been counting down the days until the opening of ticket deposit reservations for weeks, and it has been so exciting to see City fans show up and help us reach recording-breaking numbers,” said Dennis Moore, Chief Revenue Officer for St. Louis CITY SC.

“We can’t wait to keep this momentum up as we continue working diligently toward season ticket seat selection and ultimately, taking the pitch in 2023.”

Fans can still place season ticket deposits though deposits will be prioritised for the final allocation in the order they were placed. Deposits are priced: Supporter Sections ($50 per account), Reserved Seating ($50 per account), Premium Seating ($100 per account) and Suites ($2,500 per account).

St. Louis City join Sacramento as the 29th and 30th teams in the league in 2023. It is the only majority female-led ownership group in the MLS and is led by Carolyn Kindle Betz.

“I’m once again blown away by our fans, supporters and community, and how they continue to rally around CITY,” said Kindle Betz. “This is just another testament to why I love St. Louis so much. When given the opportunity, our region shows the rest of the nation why we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
