Dancing with Wolves: Sure adds to its Premier League portfolio

October 28 – Wolverhampton Wanderers have become the latest Premier League club to agree a training kit partnership, announcing Unilever brand Sure as the club’s official training wear sponsor.

Sure branding will appear on all first-team training wear worn during the 2020/21 campaign. Sure also has sponsorships with Chelsea and Manchester City.

Russell Jones, general manager for marketing and commercial growth at Wolves, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sure to the Wolves family… Through this partnership, Wolves will work with Sure to continue their involvement within the passion of football in the UK and encourage people to live an active and healthy lifestyle.”

Leeds United and Leicester City have recently agreed deals for training kit while Liverpool have just expanded their training kit deal with Axa to include the naming rights to their new training complex.

No value was given for the Wolves deal.

Alice Duffill, senior brand manager for Sure UK and Ireland, said: “Football is by far the most watched sport in the UK and continues to give fans a boost, even during the most difficult of times.

“The sport is a key passion point for our target audience, and we hope we can utilise our partnerships to encourage people to move more to live more, making every moment matter.”
