AFC complete two-year media sale of key rights to Sky New Zealand

November 26 – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has made Sky Network Television Limited (Sky) as their media partner in New Zealand in a two-year deal from 2021 to 2022 for rights including the Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar, the Women’s Asian Cup India 2022, and the AFC Champions League.

Dato’ Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said: “The AFC is pleased to welcome Sky Network Television Limited to the AFC’s ever-growing family of valued media and broadcast partners…We thank Sky Network Television Limited for their belief in the future of Asian football and the AFC remains committed towards expanding the reach of our competitions not only in Asia but all across the globe.”

Sky Network Television Limitedoffers pay TV services, media streaming services and broadband internet services. And holds football rights including World Cup Qatar 2022, FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023, the UEFA Champions League, the Europa League, the German Bundesliga, and the Italian Serie A.
