Mbappé beats Dele Alli to top transfer value spot. Six players at English clubs make top 10

December 6 – French prodigy Kylian Mbappé tops the ranking by transfer value of U21 players in the  big-5 European leagues. The PSG striker takes over the lead spot from Spurs’ Dele Alli.

The values are calculated by the CIES Football Observatory using their own algorithm and looking at performances over the past three months.

Mbappé has had a storming start to the season and sees his value increased from €133.8 million to €182.8 million (+37%). In contrast Alli who has had a more sedate start to the season by his standards, has maintained his value around the €180 million mark. Leroy Sané (Manchester City) is in third spot on the list with a value of €124.5 mllion.

Manchester United’s Markus Rashford is ranked fifth with a value of €116,7 million, an increase if 28% on his value three months ago.

Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona), Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) and Gianluigi Donnarumma (Milan) top the U21 rankings in the Spanish, German and Italian leagues.
