Manchester United trip to Doha showcases Qatar facilities

January 12 – The standard of Qatar’s facilities have received a ringing endorsement after Premier League champions Manchester United, including Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand (pictured), flew to Doha for a four-day training trip to avoid the snowy weather in England that has wreaked such havoc.

Qatar 2022 support Inter Milan match

January 3 – A senior delegation from Qatar’s 2022 World Cup Bid Committee flew to Saudi Arabia for the testimonial match of Nawaf al-Temyat between Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal Club and Italian champions Inter Milan, who are managed by Jose Mourinho, at the King Fahd international stadium.
