August 12 – Japanese-based management consultancy A-Beam Consulting has become an international partner of the English Premier League champions being designated the club’s Official Management Consulting Services Partner in Japan.
The Tokyo-based business provides consulting services worldwide across a variety of sectors including enhanced sports team management, marketing, strategic sponsorship and digital technology.
At the heart of the partnership is a commitment to grow the Man City presence in Japan.
Man City is owned by the City Football Group (CFG) that also owns 20% of J-League side Yokohama F Marinos.
Stephen Cieplik senior vice president of Global Partnership Sales at CFG said: “This new partnership provides Manchester City with an opportunity to build on our growing presence in Japan and we look forward to working together to share best practice and insight over the course of the partnership which will hopefully prove valuable to ABeam Consulting and their team.”
Abeam has about 6,500 consultants advise in the areas of finance, manufacturing, distribution, energy, information communications, as well as industry, and organisations in the public sector.
