Clearing the air. Inter sign Panasonic as new sponsor partner

February 23 – Inter Milan have signed Japanese electronic brand Panasonic as the club’s new Air Quality Partner in an initial agreement that will run until the end of the season.

Panasonic will receive a range of branding and product placement marketing activations included branded content on social mediaand pitchside boards at Serie A and Coppa Italia matches.

Panasonic will use the sponsorship to promote its nanoe™ X technology, which filters out pathogenic microorganisms – bacteria, moulds and viruses. It is unclear whether the technology filters out the covid virus.

“Panasonic’s mission is to create comfortable environments while respecting nature, through the introduction of technological innovations that contribute to energy saving and people’s well-being” said Andrea Cetrone, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Italy Country Manager.

“Through our partnership with Inter we want the value of our technology, which is present in our residential and commercial air conditioning solutions for small and large environments, to be shared with all sports fans and beyond.”

No value was given for the deal.
