May 5 – Having just completed hosting a centralised group stage of the AFC’s Champions League, Buriram in Thailand has stepped up again to fill the hosting gap left in the AFC Cup.
Chinese Taipei were to host of the AFC Cup 2022 Group J matches for the East Zone, but a surge of the coronavirus in the country and he resulting travel restrictions forced them to pull out.
Instead the AFC has today confirmed that the centralised ties will be switched to Buriram.
Group J ties will be played June 24-30. MUST CPK of Macau, Hong Kong sides Eastern Long Lions and Lee Man as well as Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City FC will
