August 26 – New season, new brand identities. UEFA has unveiled the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League final identities for Istanbul, Budapest and Prague.
The designs all incorporate the competition trophy at the centre of the visual identity with backdrops of iconic images from the city hosting the final.
Champions League: Produced by artist and illustrator Tolga Tarhan, the 2023 Final identity is based on an abstract depiction of the city at sunset. Inspired by the rich colours of the Istanbul sky and the bustling pace of the city, the scene features iconic landmarks such as the Galata tower, the aqueduct and the bridge across the Bosphorus.
Europa League: The logo for the final in Budapest at Puskás Aréna has been designed around the ‘energy wave’ concept of the UEFA Europa League combined with some of the Hungarian capital’s most famous landmarks.
The Hungarian Parliament Building forms the central backdrop representing the host city, flanked by the iconic lion statues on Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion.
The 2023 UEFA Europa League final will be the second UEFA final to take place at Puskás Aréna, which previously hosted the 2020 UEFA Super Cup.
Europa Conference League: The identity for the final in Prague at Eden Arena draws on the unique typography found across the Czech capital including on the Old Town Hall and city gates.
Eden Arena will host its second UEFA final after hosting the UEFA Super Cup in 2013.
