Spurs cut licensing deal with premium US outdoor brand YETI

November 11 – Premier League Tottenham Hotspur has agreed a three-year licence agreement with outdoor product brand YETI.

As part of the deal, YETI will produce Spurs-branded insulated drinkware and accessories as well as supply drinkware, coolers and accessories to the Club’s Training Centre, including men’s and women’s First Teams and the Academy.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, YETI has developed a range of premium outdoor products and developed a strong following of brand loyalists amongst outdoor enthusiasts.

Gary Jacobson, Brand Licensing Manager, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “YETI has built a strong reputation and become a leader in the field of sustainable and durable outdoor products and we are sure the range of Spurs-branded drinkware and accessories will prove popular.”

At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to the environment. Spurs is a founding member of Products of Change, and has focussed on sourcing sustainable products and eliminating single-use plastic across its retail range and wider operations.

“Since we first spoke with the club, we learned our products integrated with the team, staff and football community as seamlessly as it does for our core outdoor communities, like backcountry snowboarders, alpinists and anglers,” said Bill Neff, VP, Marketing – EMEA at YETI.

“YETI and Spurs have a shared passion for a sustainable future and to help provide a better experience for all staff and fans.”

No value was given for the deal.
