October 15 – Premier League holders Manchester City have announced a renewal of their regional partnership with Tokyo-based Abeam Consulting.
ABeam became the Club’s Official Management Consulting Services Partner in Japan in August 2021 and after three years of collaboration, the multi-year agreement will see the consulting firm continue as a regional official partner.
The company have proved to be a valuable asset to the club, with Abeam’s experts having travelled to Manchester several times to take an ‘in-depth look’ into how the club designs customer experience in strategic infrastructure projects.
The partners will continue to share insights to further develop services and solutions across both organisations, whilst the core focus remains on further growing the club’s presence within Japan, where they also spent their pre-season tour.
The club has been building their presence in the region and in 2023 entered into a long-term partnership with Japanese beer company Asahi as training kit sponsor
Tom Boyle, VP of Partnerships at City Football Group commented: “With last year’s pre-season tour and the recent stop in Tokyo on the 4-in-a-row Trophy Tour, Manchester City’s brand presence in Japan has seen tremendous growth and the expansion of our partnership with Abeam Consulting is a fantastic opportunity to build on this momentum.
“Our collaboration with Abeam Consulting has proven valuable to the club and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for our regional partnership.”
Takahiro Yamada, President and CEO of ABeam Consulting Ltd. commented: “By leveraging the knowledge of both parties, we will continue to jointly develop innovative services and solutions that contribute to improving DX and CX not only for Japanese sports businesses, but also for all companies and organizations, and to develop and revitalize the Japanese sports industry.”
