November 25 – FC Barcelona have signed a five-year deal with the New Era Visionary Group (NEVG), who will become the club’s Official Telecom Operator from January 2025 through December 2030.
As part of the agreement, the club will launch ‘Barça Mobile’ services, offering fans mobile plans, data, and fibre-optic services in collaboration with Orange, Spain’s leading telecom provider.
Orange will also equip Spotify Camp Nou with advanced 5G+ infrastructure, as it looks to enable ‘seamless’ connectivity for fans, live streaming, and enhanced digital services. Barça Mobile users will benefit from roaming, while FC Barcelona members will enjoy exclusive discounts and offers.
This partnership marks the next step in the LaLiga leader’s quest to make Espai Barça an innovation hub by advancing the club’s digital transformation, while also creating new sponsorship opportunities for one of the most ambitious projects in its recent history.
Juli Guiu, FC Barcelona’s Vice President of Marketing, said: “Espai Barça must be the catalyst for the club’s digital transformation, and having the best connectivity in the stadium is essential to providing a unique match day experience for all our fans and visitors. At the same time, the launch of ‘Barça Mobile Services’ with NEVG and in collaboration with Orange will be a major step forward, offering all users a mobile service with a wide range of possibilities and many advantages for FC Barcelona members.”
Ruslan Birladeanu, CEO of New Era Visionary Group, said: “Our vision is to make ‘Barça Mobile’ a global brand that goes beyond just serving fans – uniting people worldwide and expanding Barça’s global fanbase. This partnership marks a pivotal moment in reshaping mobile connectivity in sports and entertainment, bringing FC Barcelona closer to its global community.”
