June 13 – With the Club World Cup kicking off on Saturday in Miami and Los Angeles, broadcaster DAZN has agreed a deal with Sportradar for exclusive rights to distribute ultra-low latency betting data, as well as non-exclusive media content.
Sportradar data will include live odds across all 63 matches to its global network of more than 800 bookmaker clients and 900 media companies.
Sportradar will also be given access to deep tracking data from matches to offer a range of micro and player markets, including up to 190 pre-match and 200 in-play betting markets, as well as power live match trackers.
Moritz Gloeckler, EVP, Rights & Strategic Projects, Sportradar, said: “We are thrilled to partner with DAZN to elevate the Club World Cup 2025 to new heights, expanding global reach, captivating new audiences and deepening engagement with fans worldwide. At the same time, we remain committed to upholding the integrity of this prestigious competition.”
With ticket sales struggling to take off – reports are only 20,000 tickets for the 65,000 capacity Hard Rock Stadium in Miami have been – the flooding of the betting markets with content and data could prove to be the missing link needed to spark interest in the tournament.
The US is still a highly regulated market for online sports betting with only 26 of the states having deregulated since 2018.
With friendly matches generally having the highest incidents of match-fixing and this tournament having the look and feel of friendly fixtures, Sportradar said it will safeguard the tournament from corruption via its bet monitoring agreement with FIFA.
