February 14 – Nine months after the start of one of the world’s biggest ever match fixing probes, almost 100 Turkish officials, including a raft of past and present club Presidents, managers and players, went on trial in Istanbul today.

February 12 – Controversial African powerbroker Issa Hayatou (pictured) has been handed a vote of confidence to remain as President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) despite being recently reprimanded by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) over corruption allegations.
