Air Albania secures FA and national stadium naming rights

June 9 – The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) has agreed a sponsorship including naming rights for its National Stadium in Tirana with airline Air Albania Stadium.

June 13 – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will be active at the Club World Cup that kicks off on Saturday at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and throughout the month-long tournament.

June 9 – Major League Soccer (MLS) has partnered with New Era Cap, LLC, naming the iconic brand as the Official On-Field Cap of MLS. The deal grants New Era rights to produce and distribute headwear and apparel for all 30 MLS clubs.

With DAZN spending close to $1 billion on Club World Cup broadcast rights shortly after a $1 billion investment in the company by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), PIF has now splashed its cash again, this time becoming the main sponsor of the tournament that is currently looking a little unloved.

June 5 – With a brace from teenage star Lamine Yamal, Spain outclassed France in a thrilling 5-4 victory to reach the final of the Nations League, retaining the chance to defend their title.
It’s as if Spain have never left centre stage. After a trophy-laden 2024 summer, La Roja returned to a competitive tournament with more barnstorming football and once again Yamal, who burst on to the world stage last year,
