NEW DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED
Sports Law at the Crossroads II – Decoding the new codes
2019 was a pivotal year for the introduction of new reform packages concerning player status and transfers, as well as a new WADA code. But what do these new codes entail and how are the regulations being applied in 2020.
More reforms are on the way regarding transfers. And player agents and intermediaries will have a new set of governing rules that will impact their business and in particular their income. This forum will discuss whether the regulations are a step forward or a step back.
It will also look forward to further amendments expected in the WADA code, examine the new Olympic bylaw covering athlete endorsements and advertising, as well as conduct a masterclass on a number of CAS awards that every sports law practitioner must be aware of.
Who should attend:
Sports law practitioners, sports federation lawyers, CAS judges and intermediaries, player agents, sports integrity officers, football club legal representatives, sports regulatory bodies, league legal and integrity officers
