Perhaps the most spectacular of the US’s mega stadiums, the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with its wrap-around video screen, will host the final of the Gold Cup. It is the first time the Gold Cup has visited the SoFi and the stadium’s first major soccer showpiece final.

The SoFi will also be a host venue for the 2026 World Cup and the venue for the finals of the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. Before then the pitch will need to be enlarged to meet FIFA requirements.

It will also host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics.

The home of the Los Angeles Chargers and the Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, it is located at Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.

The 3.1 million square-foot SoFi Stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL, as well as the first indoor-outdoor stadium. It seats approximately 70,000, expandable up to 100,000, with more than 260 luxury suites and more than 13,000 premium seats.

SoFi Stadium was host to Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football National Championship in 2023, WrestleMania in 2023.
