Kilts packed, the Tartan Army are getting ready for the road

January 30 – With Scotland returning for their seond consecutive European championship, the Scottish FA have agreed a deal with Destination Sport Travel who  become the official Scotland national team travel partner for Euro 2024.

A specialist travel management company, Destination Sport Travel work with more than 40 sports clubs, governing bodies and federations, including Chelsea, City Football Group, Everton, the Football Association of Wales, Manchester United, Rangers Football Club, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

Scottish Football Marketing Commercial Director Brendan Napier said: “2024 promises to be an important year for the Scottish FA, with a number of major fixtures coming up for our national teams, so we are extremely pleased to have the support of Destination Sport Travel for our national team travel requirements.

“Our men’s team competing at UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany will be a significant operation so having the expertise and experience that Destination Sport Travel bring to managing the travel requirements will be a major boost for the association and will help to ensure the team’s preparation goes as smoothly as possible.”

2024 will be the fourth Euros the Scots have played at, having been at Euro 2020 (played in 2021 due to covid postponement), and in 1992 and 1996.

The agreement with Destination Sport Travel will seem them support with travel and accommodation requirements for a selection of Scotland Men’s, Women’s and National Youth Team fixtures as well as coordinating travel arrangements for select groups attending the tournament finals in Germany.
