BC Place Stadium in Vancouver is a premier venue for soccer events, serving as the home ground for Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS) and Vancouver Rise FC (Northern Super League). It is a first time host for the Gold Cup, and in 2026 will be a World Cup venue.

BC Place stadium is a remarkable state-of-the-art venue with the largest cable-supported retractable roof in the world and is now an iconic landmark of the Vancouver skyline. It is a place of pride within British Columbia. The 36 foot façade can be lit up by thousands of energy efficient-efficient LED lights creating colour animations. Suspended above the field is the world’s second-largest 4-sided centre hung HD video board, which is surrounded by 54,500 seats and more than 50 suites and hospitality lounges. Inside the 7,500 square metres of sky displayed to spectators. The overall effect creates a “Northern Lights Display”.
This has been used to create the world’s largest Union Jack to welcome Paul McCartney and to create a giant poppy to recognize Canada’s Veterans
