May 14 – UEFA is doubling down on its entertainment-driven fan engagement with confirmation that Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso will headline the Friday Night Show at this year’s UEFA Champions Festival in Munich.
The open-air concert, presented by tournament sponsor Rockstar Energy Drink, is set for May 30 at Olympiapark — the night before Paris Saint-Germain face Inter Milan in the 2025 UEFA Champions League final at Munich Football Arena.
Ingrosso, best known as a founding member of Swedish House Mafia, will deliver a 90-minute set as part of UEFA’s continued effort to position the Champions League final as more than a sporting event — offering a festival-like atmosphere for host cities and fans regardless of match ticket access.
The free-to-attend UEFA Champions Festival runs from May 29 to June 1 and has become a key pillar of UEFA’s commercial and outreach strategy.
The use of big-name performers is now standard at UEFA finals, with past appearances from artists like Marshmello, Camila Cabello and Burna Boy highlighting UEFA’s shift toward crossover cultural relevance — and underlining the Champions League final’s status as a global entertainment event.
Iulia Dobre, Beverages Marketing Director PepsiCo DACH/Northern Europe, commented: “Bringing the music to the Champions Festival is a priority to us. With Sebastian Ingrosso, we’ve secured an international icon who embodies electrifying live performances like no one else. The Friday Night Show at Olympiapark will be an absolute highlight for music and football fans alike – and we’re proud that Rockstar Energy Drink can bring a free, world-class concert to the heart of the Fan Festival.”
