The 25,174-capcaity Dignity Health Sports Park stadium has a strong soccer history and is the home of the LA Galaxy in the MLS. The complex is the national team training headquarters for the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and has been used on many occasions between 2004 and 2016 for US friendly internationals.
It was originally developed as the Home Depot centre opening in 2003 then renamed in June 1, 2013 as the Stubhub Centre. The stadium became the Dignity Health Sports Park in 2019 following a new naming rights agreement with Dignity Health.
The sports complex also houses the 8,000 seat Dignity Health Park tennis stadium, a track the 2,450 Velo Sports centre velodrome and a track and field facility that has 2,000 permanent seats that can be expanded to 20,000.
In 2017 the stadium was renovated to accommodate the LA Chargers of the NFL who played there from 2017 to 2019. Afterwards the San Diego State Aztecs football team played at the stadium temporarily in 2020 and 2021.
