Mexico and USA find more problems than solutions in pre-Gold Cup warm-ups; Canada find form
June 9 – The Gold Cup kicks off next Saturday at the SoFi Stadium with the tournament providing the last real competitive chance for the already qualified hosts – Canada, Mexico and USA – to test their 2026 World Cup preparations. At the weekend there were mixed fortunes for all three in pre-Gold Cup friendlies against European opposition.
