May 25 – Italians are noted for their fashion style, so you would expect Italian football club retail outlets to have a certain amount of good taste and panache.
Inter Milan have embodied that principle with the location of new store in one of the most exclusive corners of Milan, just a stone’s throw from Piazza San Babila and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Galleria Passarella 2.
The black and blue colours of the Nerazzurri debuted yesterday in the centre of Milan with the opening of the club’s new Inter Store Milan.
The 300 square metre store is split over two floors and will be open seven days a week. As well as merchandise, fans will be able to buy match-day tickets and season tickets.
“The aim is to create an exclusive, high-impact space where Nerazzurri fans can feel at home and indulge their passion for the black and blue of Inter,” said a club press release.
Inter Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Gandler, said: “Inaugurating the new Inter Store Milan means celebrating the opening of a genuine Nerazzurri focal point in the heart of the city where fans can buy all official Inter products. It will be the reference point for our numerous supporters who visit Milan from every corner of the globe, an iconic location characterised by the distinctive elements of our Club and where they can experience their love for the Nerazzurri colours,” said Inter Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Gandler.
The store’s decor pays tribute to the club’s past glories, its strong bond with the city of Milan. The Nerazzurri colours and emblem are the defining feature of the store, with a mural measuring over four metres tall dominating the space.
