Former FIFA chief Valcke back in events business with Spanish start-up

April 28 – FIFA’s former general secretary Jérôme Valcke, number two to Sepp Blatter before spectacularly falling from grace, has suddenly re-surfaced in Spain where he has set up an events business.

The Frenchman, who is appealing against his 10-year ban for ethics breaches, has reportedly founded OMV Frontline, specialising in organising and managing sporting, artistic and fashion events, according to AFP.

Valcke’s wife Ornella Stocchi is named the firm’s ‘administrator’ in company records that say the company was set up last month.

Valcke, fired in January last year for alleged financial impropriety over television deals, World Cup ticket sales, plus expense abuses as well as being subject of a Swiss criminal investigation, is understood to have resettled in Barcelona.

An internet search shows OMV Frontline International SL as having a turnover of less than €2 million and between one and nine employees.
