Man City revamp OTT service under new CITY+ brand with increased content

January 24 – Manchester City has launched an new content service across its digital platforms. Branded CITY+, it is the described as the ‘evolution’ of the club’s OTT offering launched last July.

CITY+ will provide full match replays of all men’s and women’s matches 24 hours after the final whistle, original CityTV productions, as well as selected live women’s and academy games.

To launch of the new subscription, the Club has released an exclusive CityTV Productions documentary ‘Made in Gran Canaria’, chronicling the rise of City captain David Silva.

The service will live-stream the EDS squad play on Everton on January 31 and Manchester City women versus Arsenal on February 2.

CITY+ is available worldwide with a 30-day free trial offer, after which a subscription costs £1.99.

Nuria Tarre, chief marketing officer at City Football Group, said: “Following the launch of our OTT platform last year, we wanted to continue enhancing the viewing experience for fans and offer greater flexibility to consume our content. We’re now rolling our exclusive content out across our digital estate.”
