March 17 – Sportradar and Australia’s National Premier League have partnered to create and OTT streaming platform for football in Australia.
The live and on-demand OTT platform will showcase Australia’s National Premier League competitions. New South Wales (Football NSW), and Queensland (Football Queensland), and other member federations will also have the opportunity to join the platform duing the 2020 season.
More than 1000 games will be broadcast live and exclusively on the platform. The partnership will see Football NSW / Football Queensland and Sportradar jointly explore advertising integration and paid user subscription on a revenue share basis
NPL.TV is available to all Australian-based fans at no cost with an upgrade to a ‘premium’ Full HD offering for a small monthly fee. Fans can watch live streams and full match replays along with a range of on-demand fan-driven content to be supplied by each member federation.
