Online trader launches rebrand with global Man City partnership

September 30 – Manchester City has announced a new multi-year global partnership with newly rebranded Axi who become the club’s Official Online Trading Partner. 

Launched as AxiTrader in 2007, the rebranded Axi will use the club to create awareness of it shortened name and business via tagline ‘Trade Your Edge’ which will have exposure across the Etihad Stadium, content on the club website and via activations with customers and fans online and at events.

Tom Boyle, Head of Partnership Marketing EMEA at City Football Group, said: “We have been impressed by Axi’s ambition and drive to build such a successful business from just a two-man start up and see parallels between them and City in how they strive for success. With their recent rebrand we recognise that this is an exciting time for Axi and we are looking forward to Manchester City being part of this new chapter.”

Axi is a global online FX and CFD trading company trading in more than 100 countries. “We help new traders, pro traders, trading businesses, banks and financial organizations find the edge they need to achieve their financial goals through informed transactions made on the world’s financial markets,” said a company release.
