New Balance open up in Serie A taking AS Roma kit deal off Nike

February 16 – New Balance are to take over as AS Roma’s kit supplier from the start of the 2021/22 season, the first Serie A club to join the US leisurewear company’s team roster.

New Balance will design and manufacture all technical kit and training apparel for the Italian club. No term or value was given for the deal which sees New Balance replace Nike as the club’s official kit supplier.

Guido Fienga, CEO of AS Roma, said: “This agreement represents an important step for the club and our ambitions to continue growing. New Balance are globally recognised as leaders in their industry and we are convinced this new partnership will mark the start of many great new opportunities for our brand.

AS Roma products will be sold through New Balance retail stores globally. Roma join other new balance supplied clubs including FC Porto, Athletic Club, LOSC Lille and national football teams Costa Rica and Panama.
