June 24 – Molten has renewed its partnership and licensing agreement with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) making it the Official Match Ball Supplier for 2021 for national team and club competitions.
The global sponsorship includes the final round of the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar featuring the Continent’s top 12 national teams, the AFC Champions League and the AFC Cup.
AFC General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John, said: “Molten is one of the most reputable Asian brands and they have a long and proud record of supporting Asian football over the years.”
Molten’s flagship model, the Vantaggio 5000 AFC, will be the official match ball for the AFC Asian Qualifiers and used in all matches played from September 2021 to June 2022.

The AFC has successfully battled to gets its competition rescheduled despite the pandemic that has shut down large parts of the world’s largest football confederation. A key issue has been squeezing competition into a tightening schedule
