Bitci adds LaLiga’s Alavés to blockchain roster with 30m fan token plan

August 5 – Turkish blockchain technology company Bitci.com have expanded their Fan Token base in Spain with a deal with LaLiga’s Deportivo Alavés that includes a three-year brand advertising package.

In May Bitci launched fan tokens with the Spanish national team, the first for a national team. Their lead was later followed by blockchain rivals Chiliz and Socios.com who struck a deal with the Argentine FA pre-Copa America.

The Alaves deal will see Bitci offer 30 million Alavés tokens at a pre-sale price of €0.10 ($0.12) through Bitcicoin and the Spanish National Team Fan Token offering. Bitci brand exposure will be across Alavés’ Mendizorrotza stadium and at the club’s José Luis Compañón training centre.

As part of the agreement, Bitci will also give fans the chance to invest in Alavés, with 30 million tokens to be offered at a pre-sale price of €0.10 ($0.12). The purchase of these tokens will be made available through Bitcicoin and through the Spanish National Team Fan Token offering.

Fan token buyers will have access to a range of digital assets. The tokens are tradeable.

Bitci earlier this year struck a deal with LaLiga’s Real Betis that also sees it as a back of short sponsor, while it also has a sleeve and fan token deal with Wolves in the Premier League and Scottish Premier League Rangers.
