Ajax get three years of donuts with Dunkin’

August 31 – Ajax Amsterdam and Dunkin’ have teamed up with Dunkin’ becoming the club’s bakery partner for the coming three seasons, the Dutch outfit have announced. 

“Dunkin’ has grown impressively in recent months with new and modern branches throughout the Netherlands,” said Ajax’s commercial director Menno Geelen. “Thanks to our collaboration, they can give their range an Ajax touch and bring it to the attention of the large Ajax fan base throughout the country.”

The donut brand will develop special ‘Ajax Bakery’ products and will also be visible in the Ajax’s stadium, the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

“Now, when Ajax fans are celebrating something, they can now enjoy or treat themselves to our delicious Ajax donuts and pastries,” said CEO Dunkin’ Netherlands and Belgium Nabil Besali.  “We will proudly sell the Dunkin’ Ajax baked goods in both our new location on the Johan Cruijff Boulevard and in the rest of the country.”

On Sunday,  Ajax thrashed Vitesse 5-0 in the Eredivisie. After three rounds of matches, they sit in second position in the table on seven points, two behind league leaders PSV Eindhoven.
