Last brand standing: Liverpool license marks to PUGB mobile game

November 2 – Premier League Liverpool FC (LFC) announced have partnered with mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile in a deal that will see Liverpool’s marks introduced into the game.

PUBG Mobile players will be able to unlock limited-edition Liverpool-branded outfits and earn free in-game gear and items, such as parachutes and backpacks, when they compete in a series of classic mode games.

PUBG Mobile is the mobile version of the battle royale PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds console game published byt China’s Tencent. In the game up to 100 players compete to be the last man. Players can customise their character’s initial outfit. In the mobile version they will be able to choose a Liverpool kit.

No value or term has been given for the licensing deal. The new features launch in the game from November 12 to December 20.
